We're partnering with a well-established, product-led organisation to appoint a Head of Operations who will take full ownership of the operational engine of the business.
This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end accountability across supply chain, inventory, product lifecycle, quality, and systems.
The business is at a point where structure, visibility, and performance need to be elevated. This role is about building that.


The Opportunity
You'll step into a role with genuine ownership.
This isn't about maintaining the status quo. It's about designing and embedding the systems, processes, and discipline required to scale.
You'll lead a multi-functional team and bring alignment across operations, ensuring everything from forecasting through to delivery runs with clarity and consistency.
Key focus areas include:
  • Leading and developing a cross-functional operations team
  • Driving accountability, structure, and performance across departments
  • Aligning operational execution with broader business strategy
  • Implementing forward-looking demand planning (12-month rolling forecast)
  • Optimising inventory and reducing excess or obsolete stock
  • Strengthening supplier performance, quality, and reliability
  • Overseeing the product lifecycle from concept through to launch
  • Ensuring all product documentation and compliance requirements are met
  • Owning and enhancing the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • Managing product quality, warranty risk, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Driving effective use of ERP systems and improving data integrity
  • Identifying opportunities for automation and smarter ways of working
  • Leading cost reduction, efficiency, and customer experience improvements

What We're Looking For
You're an experienced operations leader who brings both structure and commercial thinking.
You've operated in complex environments and know how to bring order, visibility, and performance without slowing the business down.
You'll likely bring:
  • 10+ years' experience across operations, supply chain, or manufacturing environments
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
  • Strong background in inventory, procurement, and supplier performance
  • A track record of improving operational processes and systems
  • Experience implementing forecasting, planning, and capacity frameworks
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance cost, service, and growth
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Odoo or similar)
  • Solid understanding of quality systems and compliance frameworks (ISO 9001 or similar)
  • Strong analytical capability and confidence working with data to drive decisions
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
