We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer with strong expertise in SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture).

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer with strong expertise in SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture), modern development, and the JavaScript ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising high‑quality storefront experiences on the SFCC platform.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance storefront features using SFRA best practices and scalable frontend architecture.
  • Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible, and high‑performance web pages.
  • Build reusable components and libraries across the SFCC ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with backend developers, business analysts, and UX teams to deliver seamless eCommerce functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and optimise page performance, loading speed, and overall user experience.
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards, security guidelines, and platform best practices.
  • Support integrations with third‑party services, payment gateways, and custom APIs.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Selection Criteria
  1. SFRA Experience (Storefront Reference Architecture)
  • Strong hands‑on experience developing storefronts using SFRA.
  • Deep understanding of controllers, models, ISML templates, pipelines, and cartridge structure.
  • Ability to customise, extend, and optimise SFRA for business requirements.
  1. Frontend Design Skills
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Responsive Design, Accessibility (WCAG).
  • Ability to interpret UI/UX wireframes and convert them into pixel‑perfect, interactive interfaces.
  • Experience with frontend performance optimisation and cross-browser compatibility.
  1. JavaScript Ecosystem
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and modern frontend patterns.
  • Experience with build tools such as Webpack, npm, Babel, and Git.
  • Understanding of component-based architecture and reusable UI design principles.
  1. SFCC Certification
  • Possession of an official Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer Certification (or equivalent).
  • Bonus: Additional Salesforce certifications or Trailhead achievements.
Required Qualifications
  • 3-7 years of experience in SFCC frontend development.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Headless commerce, APIs, or PWA frameworks.
  • Familiarity with UX principles, A/B testing, and analytics tools.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices.
