The Opportunity
You will work within an Agile engineering team designing and developing modern applications using C#, .NET, MAUI and cross-platform mobile technologies.
The role involves building scalable software, developing intuitive user experiences and contributing to a platform that enables organisations to capture, analyse and visualise data in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop high-quality native and cross-platform applications
Build modern mobile, desktop and web user interfaces with a strong focus on usability
Develop application frameworks and reusable components for cross-platform app development
Work within an Agile development environment, delivering feature-rich applications using C# and .NET
Develop software used for field mapping, navigation, data capture and sensor network integrations
Collaborate closely with engineers, product teams and developers across the full development lifecycle
Design APIs and services that integrate with mobile devices and web-based systems
Solve complex technical challenges related to application architecture and user experience

About You
You are a strong software engineer who enjoys building clean, scalable applications and solving real-world technical problems.
You likely bring:
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience
- Strong expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem
- Experience with Xamarin, Xamarin Forms or .NET MAUI
- Experience developing cross platform applications
- Strong understanding of software architecture, algorithms and design patterns
- Experience working with JSON, XAML/XML and web services
- Exposure to tools such as GitHub, Jenkins and Microsoft App Center
- A strong eye for user experience and interface design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, GIS or similar
- Full working rights in Australia
Nice to Have
- Experience developing mobile applications for iOS or Android
- Experience with Telerik UI for .NET
- Postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
